Subject: Part B IDEA Final Expenditure Report (FER) Due Dates

The due date for the estimated IDEA Part B Final Expenditure Report (FER) is June 15, 2009. The new ePeGS Part B FER should be available on June 1 and will have additional elements previously not collected in our web FERs. These additional elements are designed to eliminate the need for separate individual data submissions to DESE. The new ePeGS FER additional elements include:
1) Maintenance of Effort worksheet
2) Proportionate Share calculation and expenditures
3) Early Intervening Services (EIS) expenditures
The ePeGS Part B Training Manual will be updated soon with instructions and screen prints of new web pages. Any corrections to the estimated FER will be due on July 30. Questions may be directed by email to webreplyspefm@dese.mo.gov or by calling (573) 751-0622.
