Subject: Reminder - ARRA Quarterly Report Due March 20, 2010
Source: Funds Management
Intended Audience: Administrators of Special Education
Date: March 11, 2010
Each quarter DESE is required to provide data to the state American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) reporting office with an update by district and charter school on revenues, expenditures, and jobs created/retained. The information is then submitted to the federal government.
The ARRA reporting web page is located on the DESE Web Applications at https://k12apps.dese.mo.gov/webLogin/login.aspx. It is now available for data entry for the quarter ending March 31, 2010. This webpage is accessible by LEA staff with ASBR, ePeGS, Special Education, or School Food Service authority. The jobs created/retained data from the prior quarter for each grant are displayed and rolled over to the new quarter.
If there are no changes, the authorized district person will click SAVE on the screen and the district will be done with that grant and would then proceed to the next grant until all have been reviewed and revised as needed. There is no "SUBMIT" button. Once the information is saved by the LEA, DESE will access and use the data that was saved.
Additional data the state is required to report is payments with ARRA funds to vendors for infrastructure expenditures. The required items are explained in the ARRA WEB REPORTING FORM INSTRUCTIONS document located at http://www.dese.mo.gov/divimprove/sia/ARRAReporting.html.
Districts with infrastructure expenditures are located at:
Please complete any needed data entry for each of the district's ARRA funds by March 20, 2010, to allow DESE staff time to review the data and submit through the state reporting system to the federal government by April 10, 2010.
Thank you for your prompt reporting of Part B IDEA ARRA and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) ARRA funds. Please contact the appropriate program if you have questions as your staff complete the reporting process.
