Districts must complete and submit the High Need Fund Pro Rata Application
for any student with a disability, regardless of placement or category of
disability, whose educational costs are expected to exceed three times the
Current Expenditure per Average Daily Attendance
(ADA) amount. The due date for the application is March 1, 2006. The High
Need Fund Pro Rata Application and the Current Expenditure per ADA amount
may be found at

Additional information for targeted students and instructions for submission
are located on the application form.
The purpose of this application is to ascertain the projected costs for the
2005-06 school year. Districts submitting projected costs via this
application will receive a prorated reimbursement prior to July 1, 2006.
The projected costs should cover the entire 12 month period from July 1,
2005, through June 30, 2006, and may include: Instruction,
Paraprofessionals, Related Services, Transportation, Tuition, Assistive
Technology, and any other related costs associated with educating the
student.
Actual costs by student will be collected after July 1, 2006, and reconciled
with this application for a final payment.
