The Division of Special Education is providing funding for districts to obtain assistive technology required in student IEPs.  Missouri Assistive Technology is administering the program through an application process.

 

Eligible assistive technology includes adaptive devices and systems necessary for delivering an appropriate program for students with disabilities. The assistive technology must be identified in a student’s IEP as part of his/her special education services, related services or supplementary aids and services.  Eligible products must cost $1,000 or more and reimbursement is limited to a maximum of $5,000 per student.

 

Applications and instructions can be obtained from Missouri Assistive Technology either by contacting them at 1-800-647-8557 or on their website at www.at.mo.gov.
