Subject: Graduate Follow-up Data Collection/REMINDER

Districts have reported follow-up data on graduates for many years. The data was formerly reported on Core Data Screen 08 (Attendance Center) of the February cycle, but beginning this year, the data is to be reported in the February MOSIS Graduate Follow-up file. The file includes a Yes/No field labeled "IEP/Disabled." This field should be used to designate 2008 graduates who were students with a disability.
This information is required for the State Performance Plan (SPP) and will be included in the public reporting of data at the district level as required by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP). Please work with the person who compiles follow-up data on graduates to ensure correct reporting.
