This is the last reminder - FY09 Public Placement Fund Applications are due January 31, 2009, for services provided during the 2007-08 school year.
Applications received to date are posted on the Division webpage at:
http://www.dese.mo.gov/divspeced/Finance/PPFindex.html. This list will be updated every Friday afternoon.
The FY09 Public Placement Fund (PPF) application and other supporting documentation has been posted on the Funds Management webpage at http://www.dese.mo.gov/divspeced/Finance/PPFindex.html. Applications must be saved, printed, signed, and mailed to the Division. All applications must be postmarked on or before January 31, 2009.
The Public Placement Fund (PPF) provides reimbursement for districts educating non-domicile students, both IEP and non-IEP, placed within the district by Children's Services (CD)/Division of Family Services (DFS), the Department of Mental Health (DMH), Division of Youth Services (DYS), or a court of competent jurisdiction. Funding is available when the educational costs of these students exceed the revenues received by the serving district.
