SUBJECT:  2013-14 Homeless Children and Youth Grant Application Webinar


The Federal Compliance section will conduct a webinar to discuss the 2013-2014 Homeless Children and Youth Grant Application.   LEA’s must have 20 or more homeless students to be eligible for this Grant program. 

The purpose of this webinar is to provide current information which is critical to the completion of the application, the  effective implementation of this program, and the submission requirements.  Participants are encouraged to download and print the necessary documents needed for this Grant program prior to the webinar.  These documents include the Grant application, administrative manual, scoring rubric, and Grant timeline.  These documents are available for download at:

Topics to be discussed include the administrative manual, application process, and the 2013-2014 Grant time line.  Participants will also be given the opportunity to ask questions and address issues and concerns they may have about the completion of the Homeless Children and Youth Grant Application. 

The postmark deadline for the Homeless Children and Youth Grant Application is Friday, May 24, 2013.  No faxed or electronic filing are available for this Grant program.

The Homeless Children and Youth Grant Application webinar will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m.   Registration is required for everyone wishing to participate.  It is a very quick and painless process to enroll.
