SUBJECT: Central Missouri Regional McKinney-Vento Liaison/Coordinators Meeting

The next Central Missouri Regional McKinney-Vento Liaison meeting will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
This meeting is being held on the 1st floor of the Jefferson Building located at 205 Jefferson Street, Jefferson City, Missouri. During the meeting, we will be reviewing McKinney-Vento law and guidance and sharing best practices with attendees. This is an open meeting for anyone who works with homeless students or would like to learn more about the McKinney-Vento program.
Interested attendees should RSVP to Tawanda Edwards tawanda.edwards@dese.mo.gov by Monday, December 10th. When you RSVP, please send us any questions you may have about the McKinney-Vento and Homeless Children and Youth program. We will research your questions and add them to the agenda for our meeting.
The meeting will be lead by Donna Cash, the State’s McKinney-Vento Coordinator.
