Craig Carson, Assistant Superintendent from Hollister School District has asked me to pass along this unique professional development opportunity to you.
In Hollister, over the past couple of years they have seen their Free and Reduced numbers rise significantly. One of their buildings has reached a 75+%. They are also balancing a problem with high student mobility. The Hollister School District in an attempt to understand and help their students with these issues, is hosting a conference with Eric Jensen. Jensen, who is a nationally known speaker will present “Engagement with Poverty in Mind”. The district has a few more seats available if you, your administrative team, new teachers, or teacher leaders would like to join them.
Their deadline for registration is on Thursday, October 27.
