Additional Certification Assessments
ASSESSMENT DESIGNATED FOR ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATION IN MISSOURI
The State Board of Education has designated the Praxis Assessments listed below
to add areas of certification to an existing professional or life Missouri certificate.
Tests starting with a zero are paper versions, while tests starting with a five are computer versions.

Note: Individuals holding a Missouri professional or life certificate in a secondary content area (Agriculture Education, Business Education, English, Industrial Technology, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, or Speech/Theatre) may add on middle school certification in the same content area by achieving a score of 167 or better on the test entitled Principles of Learning and Teaching 5-9: paper based test code 0623 and computer based test code 5623.
