When is the Praxis II administered?
Note: Not all tests centers are open on all test dates and not all tests are offered on these dates. Candidates are strongly encouraged to identify the required test(s) for their certification programs and specifically note when and where the tests are administered. It is important to note that not all Praxis II examinations are given on the same dates and locations. What are the registration procedures?
Registration for the Praxis II is processed through Educational Testing Service. Where should score reports be sent?
Score reports should be sent to the college or university where the candidate completed his/her professional education program, as well as the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. A candidate who has completed an approved professional education program at a Missouri college or university should have a score report sent to the coordinator of testing at the institution where the program was completed and the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Teachers who use a Praxis II assessment to add another area of certification should have a score report sent to the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (Code 7625). The score recipient list and respective reporting codes can be found in the Praxis Series Registration Bulletin.
May an applicant retake the test?
An applicant may take any or all required tests as many times as desired. Highest scores attained will prevail.
