Initial Superintendent Certification
You need to contact the certification officer at the college/university where you completed your program. The institution must recommend you for certification by submitting the Application for Superintendent's Certificate (pdf) and official transcripts.
If you currently hold a valid Missouri teaching certification you DO NOT need to submit fingerprints for the background check. If not, you need to request a background check packet from our office. Once we receive the results of your background check, we will issue a certificate based on the recommendation of your college/university.
