Please join us in a webinar that will focus on the options available to parents and districts in the special education complaint process. A new training video detailing mediation, child complaints, and due process will be shared along with resources for parents and districts. This will be followed by a live question and answer session.
School Administrators, Directors of Special Education, Special Education Process Coordinators, Special and General Education Teachers as well as parents and advocates should participate in this webinar and the live question and answer session. Questions can also be submitted prior to the webinar by emailing them to: Nancy.Thomas@dese.mo.gov (indicate "Webinar Question" in the subject line). All questions submitted, whether prior to or during the webinar, will be answered and posted on the DESE website.
Staff from the Special Education Compliance Section will present this webinar.
