Districts may print the document to distribute to parents and may post it on their websites. Districts must provide the Bill of Rights to parents when a child is determined eligible for special education services or when an initial Individualized Education Program (IEP) is developed and whenever the Procedural Safeguards Notice is provided to parents. Foreign language translations and an American Sign Language version are also available.
