Subject: ECO Parent Guide Source: Bill Connelly Intended Audience: SPOE Directors, First Steps Service Coordinators, First Steps Regional Consultants, First Steps Team Date: November 7, 2006 The Early Childhood Outcomes (ECO) Parent Guide brochure is located on the Division's website at: http://dese.mo.gov/divspeced/ECOtraining.html. This brochure is intended to provide parents of children entering First Steps with an explanation of the ECO entry and exit ratings. These ratings must be completed for all children entering First Steps beginning in October 2006. The website also contains all information presented at the statewide trainings on ECO data collection and reporting held during September and October 2006.
