Proposed Regulations for Part C of IDEA are now available and open for public comment.  The public comment period ends on July 23, 2007 with the process for public comment outlined at the beginning of the document.  To assist in review of the proposed regulations and to help identify those sections with proposed changes, a side-by-side analysis was prepared by several national infant and toddler associations.  Please remember that these regulations are only proposed at this time and may change based on public comment prior to becoming final.  Only after the regulations become final will Missouri revise the state’s regulations and other applicable documents.  The proposed regulations are located at:  http://www.dec-sped.org/publicpolicy.html#PartCB and the side-by-side analysis is located at:  http://www.dec-sped.org/.
