In 1999, Missouri received a $5.5 million grant over five years from the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), US Department of Education, for personnel preparations and professional development. These funds are being used for efforts such as tuition reimbursement, mentorship, and grants to local education agencies for targeted professional development. The SIG has now ended and information on this page is provided for information only.
