Early Childhood Outcomes (ECO) Training

The State Performance Plan, required by the U.S.  Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), includes an indicator that addresses early childhood outcomes (ECO).  This requirement is designed to gather performance data for young children receiving services through Parts B and C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).  Districts and SPOEs were to begin assessing all children entering and exiting First Steps and ECSE programs in fall 2006.

First Steps programs need to submit any entry and exit data compiled during 2010-11 by July 1, 2011.  The ECO Data Collection Form below should be emailed to speddata@dese.mo.gov

ECSE entry and exit data compiled during 2010-11 will be submitted via the MOSIS June Student Core file due July 15.  The ECO Data Collection Form will NOT be accepted from ECSE programs for 2010-11.
