Yesterday those of you who need to conduct a Self-Study learned about general supervision and how the improvement planning process fits within that model for districts in the MSIP process.  Today all of you will learn how to write an improvement plan for a self-study or for a grant application to DESE for program funding.  Keep in mind that the one improvement plan can be used for both the self-study and the grant application.  If you have to do a plan, why not try to get some funds to pay for the strategy implementation?
