The Division of Special Education is again providing funding for school
districts to obtain the assistive technology required by students'
Individualized Education Programs. Missouri Assistive Technology is
administering the program through an application process.
Eligible assistive technology includes adaptive devices and systems
necessary for delivering an appropriate educational program for students
with disabilities. The assistive technology must be identified in a
student's IEP as part of his/her special education services, related
services, or supplementary aids and services. Eligible products must cost
$1,000 or more and reimbursement is limited to a maximum of $5,000 per
student.
