In recent years, local districts and head start offices have had success in
working together to address the needs of children with disabilities.
It is important that we continue to move forward, and I ask your
cooperation. At the following link, please find a letter regarding this
topic which I ask that you share with the appropriate staff in your school
district:

are currently working with stakeholders on a revision to the Memorandum of
Understanding that outlines the joint responsibilities for this population.
It will be shared once it is revised this winter. In the meantime, the
letter contains a link to the current Memorandum of Understanding.
