Subject: Implementation Timelines for Revised
Part B State Regulations

This message is being sent to inform you that the Part B State Regulations
implementing the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act
(IDEA) were published in the July 2, 2007, issue of the Missouri Register.
The regulation will become final 30 days after being published in the Code
of State Regulations (CSR). It is anticipated that it will be in the July 31
issue of the CSR.

Prior to the effective date of the regulation, Responsible Public Agencies
should follow the provisions of IDEA 2004, which took effect July 1, 2005,
and the federal regulations implementing IDEA 2004 which took effect October
13, 2006, and the current state plan to the extent it is consistent with
IDEA 2004 and the federal regulations.
