Due to recent changes in the funding mechanism, it is no longer necessary
for school districts to submit homebound applications to the Department of
Elementary and Secondary Education as there is no special
funding/reimbursement for school districts that are providing students with
homebound services; all funding has been rolled into the foundation formula
funding.
For documentation purposes, some districts may decide to continue to use the
DESE Homebound Instruction Application found on our website.
However, it is important to remember this form is to be used for the
district's documentation purposes only and should not be sent to DESE. |
