July 20-22, 2008, DESE TRANSITION INSTITUTE

The DESE Transition Institute will be held at the Oasis Hotel in Springfield, Missouri.  This institute will include a keynote presentation from a national expert in transition; updated compliance information; breakout strands for special education teachers, general education teachers, and school counselors; and collaborative planning.

Plan to attend Sunday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon.  Then feel free to stay for the Career Education Conference Wednesday through Friday.  More information will be shared in the coming weeks regarding registration, accommodations, and the institute program.
