Subject: FY08 Payment for Public Placement (Excess Cost) Fund

The Public Placement Fund (PPF) was paid at approximately 96% for services provided during the 2006-07 school year.  Districts with approved applications will receive the full amount of the prorated payment in the February school payment.  The PPF payment is identified on the monthly transmittal as "Pub. Placement" revenue code 5369.

Payment letters will be emailed to the contact person listed on the PPF application in March.  The payment table for this fund may be viewed at http://www.dese.mo.gov/divspeced/Finance/PPFindex.html. 

Please note that the Division made a change to the Basic State Aid Revenue calculation on all applications.  For information regarding these changes, please visit the website above.
