As previously stated, school districts with ACTIVE therapy provider numbers
for speech, occupational, and/or physical therapy have been automatically
assigned one consolidated Clinic/Group provider number (beginning with 50).
Written notification of the new clinic/group provider number has already
been sent to each school district at the current address listed on the
Provider Enrollment Master File. If you did not receive a notice of the new
consolidated number, send an email to
providerenrollment@dss.mo.gov.
Termination of the School Districts' current provider numbers for
school-based speech therapy (46), occupational therapy (47), and physical
therapy (48) has been postponed until March 1, 2007. Prior to this date,
districts may continue to bill using their current therapy numbers (46, 47,
48) or use the new consolidated number (50) if the district has received the
individual therapist's number performing the service. This extension will
allow additional time for the individual school-based therapists to enroll
with Missouri Medicaid. All district employed therapists MUST enroll as
individual providers, including Speech and Language Teachers certified
through DESE. Individual district employed therapists have until January 31,
2007, to submit their enrollment applications to Missouri Medicaid. Both
individual and district enrollment applications may be completed on-line at:
https://peu.momed.com/momed/presentation/commongui/PeHome.jsp.
Enrollment applications received by January 31, 2007, will be processed by
March 1, 2007. Enrollment applications received after January 31, 2007, may
not be processed in time to meet the March 1, 2007, deadline.
Training for the Medicaid enrollment/billing changes will be held in the
coming weeks. A SELS message will be sent to districts with detailed
information regarding the training. Information will also be posted on the
Funds Management website at:
