Updated 2012 MoVIP Summer School Courses
Summer School Program
All Summer School applications are due June 1, 2012.
The Summer School Information submitted in the past on Core Data Screen 24 is now submitted through MOSIS. There are two files for MOSIS; Course Assignment and Student Assignment. You have the option of just completing the Course Assignment file (including an enrollment number in the ‘caseload’ field) or completing the Student Assignment file, as well (including the individual students). If needed, you may enter the data into the Summer Course Assignment/Student Assignment Excel Templates which can be found at http://dese.mo.gov/MOSIS/FileLayout.html under the June 11-12 Summer Course/Student Assignment links. Once this file is certified, the data will populate Screen 24. As a reminder, every student participating in Summer School will need a MOSIS ID.
Summer School Attendance hours are reported in the August MOSIS Student Enrollment/Attendance file. Excel Templates can be found at http://dese.mo.gov/MOSIS/FileLayout.html under the August 12-13 Student Enrollment/Attendance. Please note that Extended School Year hours will now be reported in a separate field from normal summer school attendance hours.
