NAEP 2011 Mathematics and Reading Results Released
The “Nation’s Report Card” results, released November 1st, indicate Missouri students scored similar to public school students in the nation in grades 4 and 8 mathematics and grade 4 reading; and higher than public school students in the nation in grade 8 reading. However, average scale scores declined for grade 4 reading and grade 8 mathematics since the last national report in 2009, and remain unchanged for grade 8 reading and grade 4 mathematics.
