Missouri Conference on Gifted Education

The 2008 State Conference on Gifted Education will be held October 11-14, 2008, at Tan-Tar-A at Lake of the Ozarks. It is an opportunity for students, parents, educators, legislators, business people, school board members, and guests to improve their understanding of gifted youth and their educational and emotional needs.

The conference will offer multi-length strands ranging from 50 minutes to three hours.  This format meets state PDC guidelines designed to facilitate more interactive and meaningful experiences for participants.  With such a compelling combination of speakers and workshops, plus entertainment and exhibits, you'll want to make plans to attend.  We guarantee you'll go away from this conference refreshed, recharged and ready to realize your potential.  Parents can attend on Sunday only for a partial registration fee, but are also welcome to register for the entire conference. Jointly sponsored by the Gifted Association of Missouri and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, this conference is an outstanding source of information about gifted children.
