Subject: Safe and Drug-Free Schools Missouri Combined Student Survey
Listserv Message Date: October 26, 2009
The Missouri Combined Student Survey will be administered during this school year. It is a component of the Safe and Drug-Free Schools program and is a requirement of the No Child Left Behind Act. The online survey will be available to schools January 6, 2010 through March 31, 2010. Please plan to include all ninth graders and two additional grades, one of which is an even numbered grade. You may survey all students in grades six through twelve. The results are important to your district as you plan prevention activities.
This year the Office of Social and Economic Analysis (OSEDA) at the University of Missouri will administer the survey in cooperation with the Missouri Department of Mental Health and DESE. You will soon receive additional details about the survey administration.
Please choose someone in your district to act as the contact person for the survey. This should be someone who can coordinate the survey administration in your district and communicate with OSEDA. Click on the following link and enter the contact information by November 6, 2009. Use the following password to enter the site: mizzou7
