Date: March 5, 2009 Subject: Missouri DESE Webinar Training: ePeGS and NCLB Federal Programs
Second Reminder The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is pleased to offer a live, two-hour training session explaining how the planning tool on ePeGS relates to the NCLB Federal Program requirements. We plan to repeat the same training session on four different dates:
*Important Note For All Registrants* - It is requested that all trainees both register and attend the session as a group in the same room. This means if you will be hosting a group of people around a single computer or projecting the session in a conference room, then only one (1) individual should register as a representative for the entire group. This will save spots for others across Missouri who want to participate in the trainings. Each two-hour session will be provided by Angela Skinner, Bette Morff and other federal program staff. This online training will focus on the planning requirements for NCLB Federal Programs and explain how to navigate the ePeGS Planning Tool. The following areas will be addressed during the session:
Who should attend? NCLB Federal Program contacts, Superintendents, and other district staff members responsible for entering plans on ePeGS To register, email webreplyFinancialMgmt@dese.mo.gov with your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice of webinar dates. Please include your name and the six-digit County/District Code for your district, if applicable. All registrants will receive an e-mail confirmation regarding the status of their participation and instructions on how to access the meeting room in order to participate in the training sessions. Instructions for setting up your computer will be sent with the registration confirmation e-mail. Please note that either a headset or speaker is required to hear the audio portion of the training. Please arrive early to the session to ensure that your computer is configured properly. By logging in prior to the scheduled training session, you will have the opportunity to test the sound capability and settings.
