SUBJECT: Project Construct Fall Training Opportunities

If you are using Title I funds to provide Title I Preschool services, you are required to implement a researched based curriculum. Project Construct (PC) is one curriculum the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education recommends. Training opportunities for the PC curriculum are listed below. Please visit the PC website at www.projectconstruct.org to view schedules and to download flyers and registration forms.
***The three 12-hour Modules comprising the Early Education and Care Professionals Institute. They will be held in Blue Springs and at St. Charles Community College during September, October, and November. There is still plenty of openings for the modules, but register soon for Module 1, as it begins on September 8.
***A new 3-hour workshop at 3 locations on September 29, entitled "Teaching Letters and Sounds: The Project Construct Way."
***A 3-hour Math Games workshop hosted by the Clever, Missouri early childhood program.
PC is also co-sponsoring a 3-hour special workshop with MO Acceditation, "The Basics of Curriculum: How to Meet Accreditation Standards," on September 22 at Ozark Technical College in Springfield.
