SUBJECT: Project Construct – Summer 2012 Schedule
LISTSERVE MESSAGE DATE: April 23, 2012
All districts funding Preschool services with Title I funds should implement one of the approved curriculum models listed in our Administrative Manual. To implement one of the approved curriculum models, the preschool teacher and preschool paraprofessional must attend the curriculum training provided through an approved trainer for the curriculum. Project Construct is one of the approved curriculums. Below is information about training opportunities available this summer for Project Construct.
Beginning in July 2012, training will be offered for the three modules in the Early Education and Childhood Professionals institute in Cottleville, Missouri at St. Charles Community College, and at the Great Beginnings Early Childhood Center in Lee's Summit. The Early Childhood Educators Institute (week-long, 30 hours) will be offered at the Hall-McCarter Education Center in Blue Springs.
You may go to the Project Constructs website at www.projectconstruct.org to view the schedule and download the registration form.
Schedules for the advanced Focus Institutes have not yet been determined. More information will be coming about the K-1 Institute.
