SUBJECT:  REMINDER -- Federal Financial Webinar, Jan. 26, 2011 from 9:30 to 10:30 am

LISTSERVE MESSAGE DATE:  January 24, 2011

Several LEAs have reported a problem with the link sent with the January 10, 2010 notice.  The link below should work fine now.  Let us know if you experience problems.  The Presentation Handout has been posted under “About this Webinar” at http://dese.mo.gov/Webinar01-26-11-FAS.htm.  For your convenience, this webinar will be recorded and available later this week at http://www.dese.mo.gov/FASRecordedWebinars.htm.

On January 26, 2011, at 9:30 a.m., join me for the first Federal Financial Management webinar.  The topics to be covered during this webinar include, but are not limited to:  Title funding for 2011-2012, period of availability for ARRA funds, how ARRA stabilization funds affect the NCLB MOE (Maintenance of Effort), carryover limitations for Title I, Payments and Cash Management.

To participate in the webinar, go to: http://dese.mo.gov/Webinar01-26-11-FAS.htm and click on the “Link to the Webinar” at (or up to 30 minutes before) 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.  When signing into the webinar, click on “enter as a guest”.  We suggest you use your county district code (you may also include your first and/or last name), then select "Enter Room."

We have discovered some participants with wireless computer connections cannot access the live webinar without serious quality issues.  Our best recommendation is to use a computer that is not wireless.

Be sure to access the following two links to view necessary equipment requirements and to test your connection a day or two prior to the webinar.  You may need to view the webinar at a different location.  If you have never attended a Connect Pro meeting before:
