SUBJECT: Title I.A Student Coding
LISTSERVE MESSAGE DATE: June 13, 2011
Students served with Title I.A funds are to be reported in the April and June MOSIS Student Core files. Below is guidance on how Title I.A students should be coded in MOSIS (this is for your information only).
Title I.A Program
Targeted – only students receiving direct Title I services should be designated in the Title I field as yes.
Schoolwide - all students in a Title I schoolwide program should be designated in the Title I field as yes.
If the school building does not receive Title I funds, the students in that school building should be designated in the Title I field as no.
MOSIS Student Core files
April – the status at the time of MAP testing.
June – the student should be reported in the June Cycle if they were identified at any point throughout the school year.
