SUBJECT:  Supplemental Educational Services and Public School Choice 2011 Required Webinar

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education will be hosting a webinar, SES & School Choice 2011, regarding NCLB School Improvement requirements.  All districts with a Title I building in some level of school improvement status and all approved SES Providers must participate in the webinar.  This is a required webinar.

The webinar will be hosted live two times, but participants are required to view the webinar only one time.  Each district and provider must register to obtain the link to the webinar.  Dates and times for the webinars are:

 

 

Email the following registration information to Tawanda Edwards at tawanda.edwards@dese.mo.govOnly register one main participant per district or provider; locally you may have as many people listening/viewing as you want.  There is a limit of 500 people per webinar time.

After you have registered, you will receive a confirmation with the date and time you may view the webinar.  The confirmation will have the link to access the webinar.  When you access the webinar, you will need to sign in with your full name but will not need a password.  If you do not sign in with a proper name and district or provider, we will not be able to see that the district participated in the required webinar. 

Examples of logins are:

Acceptable Login: Harry Smith – Jefferson City School District      Mary Smith – Sunshine Learning Inc.        

Unacceptable Login:  Guest – St. Louis                              Local Rep – Approved Provider
