SUBJECT:  Nonpublic Registration and Webinars

LISTSERVE MESSAGE DATE:   September 23, 2010

On September 21st, we mailed information to the nonpublic schools regarding the Nonpublic Registration and Nonpublic Webinars to be held in October 2010.  These webinars will replace the regional workshops held in the past. 

A copy of the letter regarding the Nonpublic Registration can be found at http://www.dese.mo.gov/divimprove/fedprog/financialmanagement/NonpublicPaperForms.html.  Although our office will continue to contact nonpublic schools on our registry, it is the responsibility of the public school to consult with the nonpublic schools regarding their nonpublic registration form.  The public school should notify us if new nonpublic schools open within the boundaries of their school district. 

The webinars will provide instructions for nonpublic schools to complete the registration form, the public school/nonpublic school consultation process, program evaluations, professional development requirements, allocation procedures, findings from DESE’s June 2010 Title I review, and other federal program issues.  Both public and nonpublic schools are encouraged to participate.  No registration is required.

The same webinar content will be hosted live twice, but participants should view the webinar only one time.  Dates, times and links to access the webinar are:

Acceptable Login:     Harry Smith – St. Peters    Sara Anderson – Immaculate Conception

Unacceptable Login:  Guest – St. Louis             Participant – Lutheran High School
