SUBJECT: Supplemental Educational Services (SES) & Public School Choice 2010 Webinar

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) will be hosting a webinar, Supplemental Educational Services (SES) & School Choice 2010, regarding NCLB School Improvement requirements. All districts with a Title I building in some level of school improvement status must participate in the webinar. Also, all SES providers approved to provide services in Missouri must participate. This is a required webinar.
The webinar will be hosted live two times, but participants are required to view the webinar only one time. Each district and provider must register to obtain the link to the webinar. Dates and times for the webinars are:
Wednesday, August 25, 2010 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Friday, August 27, 2010 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Email the following registration information to Tawanda Edwards at Tawanda.Edwards@dese.mo.gov . Only register one main participant per district or provider; locally you may have as many people listening/viewing as you want. There is a limit of 500 people per webinar time.

After you have registered, you will receive a confirmation with the date and time you may view the webinar. The confirmation will have the link to access the webinar. When you access the webinar, you will need to sign in with your full name but will not need a password. If you do not sign in with a proper name and district or provider, we will not be able to see that the district or provider participated in the required webinar. Examples of logins are:
Acceptable Login: Harry Smith – St. Louis City Ann Smith – ABC Provider
Unacceptable Login: Guest – St. Louis Participant – Sylvan
Be sure to access the following two links to view necessary equipment requirements and to test your connection a day or two prior to the webinar. You may need to view the webinar at a different location. If you have never attended a Connect Pro meeting before:
