The annual Administrator’s Conference was held July 31-August 2 and featured a focus on the Smarter Balanced Assessments, Customized Learning and the 10 By 20 State Plan. A special feature of the conference was an excellent closing speech by the Governor that clearly showed his support for public education. In addition, the Commissioner ‘s remarks focused in on the need for all Missouri public educators to work together for the benefit of Missouri’s children and to help ensure Missouri’s economic future.
