Jessie was told that inside a box, the ratio of blue tiles to total tiles was 7 to 12. After further investigation and questioning, he was able to determine that there was a total of 48 tiles in the box. However, no one in class would tell him how many blue tiles were in the box. Help Jessie determine how many of the tiles are blue.
