Questions

for

Students

What are the qualities for a well-made commercial?

How will you perform your script?

Which propaganda technique will you use?

What elements go into taping an effective commercial?

What other items must you remember to include in your commercial?

2.              Students begin to work with a partner to create commercial scripts.

Suggestions

Creating the product and writing the script will probably take two days.  The  two-day format emphasizes reading fluency rather than memorization.

Find a librarian or paraprofessional to film the commercials outside of the classroom in a quiet area.  This encourages shy performers and reduces distractions.

3.              As homework, students create their cue cards from the script.
