LESSON SIX: Merging Traffic
LESSON DESCRIPTION
Students go to the media center to locate text for their presentations. Students begin practicing and planning for presentations.

§ Make arrangements for library and computer lab time for students to choose reading selections. § Have copies of buddy evaluation ready. § If library time cannot be acquired use books from your personal collection. § Have library or computer specialist bookmark sites that would lead students to poetry or readings on particular topics. |
1. Remind students to locate two examples on a similar topic from two different texts. They will read fluently to the class. Review and discuss the Presentation Scoring Guide.
2. Take students to the library/computer lab to research and locate texts for their presentation.
