Please see the DESE website (www.dese.mo.gov) for additional information regarding “Read for the Record” on the main page. The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is encouraging schools and districts to participate in this event. If your A+ students ask whether or not they can participate and count such participation as tutoring and/or mentoring time, it would be acceptable.
