Building Bridges Conference -
Sessions on Monday and Tuesday are intended to provide global benefit to school improvement and student success regardless of the conference registrant’s primary program affiliation. Whether the presenter is from a school implementing the A+ Schools Program, High Schools That Work or another initiative, sessions on those days are intended to help all of us improve the quality of education.
Sunday has been set aside for program-specific activity for the various conference-affiliated programs, with the A+ Schools Program staff from DESE and local schools having a dedicated afternoon focused on the needs of A+ Schools Program.
First, beginning at 1:00 pm, DESE staff will offer three one-hour sessions of targeted technical assistance related to curriculum and program-specific tracking to be of particular value for schools undergoing an on-site A+ Schools Program review during the next couple of years. Space for these sessions will be limited to 12 high schools per hour with the priority given to high schools that are scheduled for designation during the 2009-10 and 2010-11 school years.
Please contact Melissa Bardwell at 573.751.9094 to schedule your school’s time with DESE staff.
Then at 4:00 pm, DESE staff will facilitate a question and answer session open to all program related issues following completion of the targeted technical assistance component.
