The A+ Schools/Charter Schools Office is pleased to announce that we will again be participating at the Building Bridges Conference on November 11th-13th at TanAugust 14, 2008"margin-bottom:0;">Sunday afternoon’s session (3:30-5:00) will include a discussion about accountability and sustainability as well as time for a question and answer session with Department A+ staff. During the remainder of the conference, A+ Coordinators from around the state will assist in presentations that include: Rigorous Coursework/Curriculum (The Transition to Revised Requirements II and IV), Tutoring and Partnership Plans. We are also pleased to be able to offer two sessions specifically targeted at districts with new A+ coordinators and those high schools that are in the process of seeking designation.
In addition, sessions not specifically targeted at A+ high schools will be beneficial to A+ coordinators as well.
A+ Seals
After many years of use, the A+ embossed seals are starting to break down and show wear. As a result, we will be replacing all of the embossed seals with self-inking stamps. These stamps will be distributed to school districts Sunday afternoon. In order to receive the new stamp, the embossed seal will need to be returned to us. Please bring your embossed seal with you at that time as we will need to surplus and recycle them.
