The Curriculum Guides for Marketing Principles and Advanced Marketing were developed in 2003.

If your district is using curriculum based on these standards, go ahead and use them.  However, when your district reviews and updates marketing curriculum, use the new national standards.

The new national standards are aligned with the Career Clusters.  All DECA competitive events will be aligned with the new national standards and Career Clusters within five years. New national standards (2008)
