& Cooperative Education CIP CodesThe Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) Codes are used to report secondary, postsecondary, and adult students for 180-day follow-up, as well as gain approval of new or expanding career education programs. A complete list of the CIP Codes used by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the corresponding course and program type codes are available in Exhibit 30 of the Core Data Manual. Additionally, a district report of the secondary CIP codes approved to be offered is available via the report menu in the Core Data System. Instructions for accessing the report are available in the Core Data manual. Postsecondary and Adult approved programs are available in the Division's Program Directory. |
