"Missouri's Hot Jobs 2006-2016 " Is Now Available

The "Missouri Hot Jobs" flyer is now updated with 2006 wage and 2006-2016 employment projection data provided by the Missouri Economic Research and Information Center (MERIC).  Jobs making the list reflect those with better than average occupation outlook through the year 2016.


CCSSE Releases First 5-Year Report

The Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) has released Committing to Student Engagement: Reflections on CCSSE’s First Five Years. The report provides results from its annual survey activities in the form of strategies and practices that appear to make a difference in improving success among students attending our broadest-access institutions.


New Icons Represent Missouri's Six Career Paths

Missouri Career Education recently updated its six Career Path icons.  Career Paths are a good starting point for career exploration, then segue to the 16 Career Clusters.

Students are often deemed eligible for different types of services as a result, in part, of an administration of an individual intelligence test.  The position paper from the National Association for Gifted Children below gives some guidelines to be considered when using the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Fourth Edition (WISC-IV) for determination of eligibility.
