Adviser State Leadership Tips
- Be familiar with the information to be provided to the state or national office for deadlines
- Check the status of membership dues. All competitors must be paid FBLA members.
- Forms, reports, resumes, website, multimedia, etc., must be received by the state office by March 12. No exceptions!!!!
- Make sure that copies of materials to be submitted to judges are error-free and that guidelines have been followed.
- Encourage your students to explore events online to understand the event and its guidelines.
- For written tests, bring several no. 2 pencils and erasers for each competitor.
- Keep a competitive event file with a folder for each event and make copies available to members.
- Give each competitor a copy of the event guidelines and any rating sheets, plus the conference preliminary schedule.
