2008 Camp Dates
June 2-6  /   June 9-13  /   June 16-20  /   June 23-27
June 30-July 4   /  July 7-11

Camp Rising Sun will be held from June 2 through July 11, 2008.  Reservations for camp will be accepted beginning on January 15, 2008.  Reservations received before that time will be returned. In order for a chapter's reservation to be accepted, both the FFA Chapter Roster and Payment of Dues must have been received in the state FFA office prior to the submission of a camp reservation request.  Reservation requests for chapters without their roster and dues received will be placed on the camp waiting list.  To make reservations, use the Reservation Form below.

Below is an updated list of schools going to FFA Camp this summer.  Please note your numbers and if there is a discrepancy, call (573) 751-3544.  As always, we request that if your numbers change, you must contact the office as soon as possible in order to ensure cabin space and to allow opportunity for those on the waiting list to attend camp.

Cancellations/Changes
If you wish to make changes in your reservations, you must do so no later than March 1 in writing to receive a full refund. Written refunds requests made between March 1 and April 15 are ½ the registration fee.  No refunds after April 15.

Items to Bring
For your convenience, we attached a sheet listing the items that students should or should not bring with them to State FFA Camp and a consent form to be duplicated for each camper to bring to camp.

Check-In
Students must classify and receive instructions at the waterfront on Monday. Please plan your arrival time at camp between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. on Monday so that your students have adequate time to go to the waterfront before they participate in nominating committee, camp officer interviews, mixer, etc.

Camp Rising Sun is located off of Whispering Oaks Rd which is off Hwy 42 and US Hwy 54.  The map and directions to camp is provided below.  If you have any questions or need better directions to camp, please call us.
